Flower Agenda 2015 continues with the peony

29 April 2015

Between week 20 and week 22 the Flower Agenda will focus on the sunny peony. Consumers will be able to read all about this fabulous bloomer in the agenda on Funnyhowflowersdothat.co.uk

The peony in the Happy Life style trend
New images of every flower in the Flower Agenda have been produced in line with the Green Sector Trends 2015*. This is a translation of the latest consumer trends focused specifically on the horticulture sector, both indoors and outdoors. There are three separate style trends: Unexpected Wild, Eco Luxe and The Happy Life. Each flower in the Flower Agenda has been photographed in the most appropriate style. For the peony this is the Happy Life style trend.

Colours and shapes of the peony
Anyone whose heart has been captured by the charms of the peony is in luck: there are at least 1000 varieties of peony available, in all sorts of shapes and colours. So there's plenty of choice! There are some with a single row of petals, or with semi-double and double flowers. Everyone can also indulge themselves in terms of colour: the peony comes in sunny yellow, romantic white, soft pink or fiery red.

Peony symbolism
A beautiful flower naturally comes with beautiful symbolism. The peony therefore represents love, happiness and health.

The Flower Agenda 2015
The Flower Agenda is an initiative by the Flower Council of Holland in conjunction with FloraHolland and the VBW; they have jointly selected the fifteen flowers in the agenda. With the Flower Agenda, the Flower Council of Holland is meeting the wish to promote seasonal flowers, product-specific promotions, and flowers that are available all year round to consumers.
