Vitamin Plant For Men

19 November 2015

The new online campaign by Thejoyofplants.co.uk focusses on the modern man

We bring to you, Vitamin Plant For Men  - the best care product for the home.  And because in recent years, more men have taken to using care products themselves, skin products and other care ranges, we did not want to be left behind, so we came up with Vitamin Plant For Men  -for an irresistible home!

This time, Thejoyofplants.co.uk is targeting a different audience:  men.  A recent UK survey by OnePoll revealed that a whopping 88.2% of respondents disagreed with the statement that plants are only for women. Our research also shows that women find men who own plants more attractive  – with 84% saying it shows he is caring, 49% taking it as a sign of good taste, and a third (34%) believing it to be the sign of a healthy lifestyle.

So we thought it was about time to bring this information the their attention. And we do exactly that, like with previous campaigns by The Flower Council, they're a bit tongue-in-cheek!

We present five manly plants in tough apothecary jars to inspire the modern man, along with a mini-documentary where three men talk openly about their love for plants  -busting all myths about men and their plants.

Plants give men more sex appeal

The results?  Not only do we find out that men feel more relaxed with plants around them , but they also get considerably more attention from the ladies. Plants do give men more sex appeal! Secretly, we of course expect that many women will also be curious to hear what these men have to say.

Campaign
In the UK, the online campaign officially starts on Thursday 19 November which will also be promoted by our UK media parter British GQ, as well as other targeted online advertising platforms to secure a wide reach.    Vitamin Plant For Men launched in the Netherlands on 5 November, and France and Germany will launch this campaign in their respective markets early next year.
