THE SELECTION

After reviewing the applications, we have had to make a decision to start at an entry level due to the different levels the florists are at.

The 30 BFA Member florists who have qualified to be monitored for the prize have been notified by email, but for the rest of the florists, please note that this programme is open to anyone who wishes to improve their own online presence and you are still welcome to follow the programme free of charge to learn and benefit your business.

Everyone who has signed up will receive the notifications and information by email to help develop new disciplines which need to be shown throughout the programme. The efforts of the florists who have qualified will be monitored over the 8 month period and will be judged on their own input and output.

JUDGES:
The Flower Council will be monitoring each of the qualified businesses internally. Florists will be individually judged on their efforts, content, overall appearance in terms of their presence, branding and output. Each business will be monitored and documented so that comparisons of progress can be made.

DISCLAIMER:
The programme will lay out tips and best practice advice in a generic form over a course of an eight month period. Florists will need to establish which tasks they will need to improve on to benefit their online presence.
