Consumer target group

Targeted and relevant communications 

To ensure that flowers and plants remain at the top of consumers’ gift and shopping lists, we develop effective marketing activities starring flowers and plants. In-depth research helps us to reach and impact consumers. For instance, we do this via the online platforms Mooiwatbloemendoen.nl and Mooiwatplantendoen.nl in the Netherlands, and the adapted (translated) versions in France, Germany and the United Kingdom.  

Knowledge is power 
The Flower Council of Holland is a knowledge-driven marketing organisation. All activities are based on knowledge and insights about consumers and shoppers, their preferences and their buying (and other) behaviour. The ultimate goal is to optimise the effectiveness of our activities and to share the resulting insights with growers and traders. We help business professionals apply that knowledge and  

define target groups based on segmentation research. In combination with additional studies, a clear picture can be obtained of consumer target groups, which enables us to reach them with highly targeted and relevant communications.  

We are adding ‘light users’ and young people to our target groups and developing images, videos and texts to inform, inspire and activate consumers. This content can also be shared by the sector and partners.
