‘Outdoor plants at GroenRijk’ Dutch shopper activation in September

The outdoor plant growers at Royal FloraHolland, GroenRijk and the Flower Council of Holland are organising a shopper activation for outdoor plants from 7 to 29 September.

With this Shopper activation we encourage Dutch consumers to buy more outdoor plants in September in order to carry on enjoying their outdoor space for longer. Every GroenRijk store will offer a prize of one patio heater worth €250 to one lucky winner, which can be won by customers who spend €20 on outdoor plants. This time-limited prize competition is aimed at increasing the amount that consumers spend on outdoor plants.

We are directing Dutch consumers to the GroenRijk garden centres using social media advertisements from both Mooiwatplantendoen.nl and GroenRijk.nl. Local (online) media around the GroenRijk stores will also be used. GroenRijk.nl will also communicate about this promotion in its online leaflet and weekly special offers, on its website and on social media in order to attract people to the store. In store, a promotional pack will provide in-store communications about the prize competition for the patio heater. The stores will be listed at Mooiwatplantendoen.nl/winactiegroenrijk. 

Awareness of outdoor plants on our consumerwebsites
The 'autumn outdoor plants’ dossier will be launched on Mooiwatplantendoen.nl, its sister sites in the key countries and our social media channels in September with lots of inspiration for your garden. Because you can still continue to enjoy your garden, balcony or patio in September. The range of outdoor plants changes during this period, making it easy for you to extend the summer further.

Online (social media) advertisements in the Netherlands and Germany and a radio commercial in the Netherlands will inspire consumers to get busy with outdoor plants. This campaign is another collaboration with the outdoor plant growers at Royal FloraHolland.
