Thanks Plants shopper activation at Albert Heijn

Albert Heijn is pulling out all the stops. From 21 October, the Thanks Plants shopper activation will take place at more than 700 Albert Heijn supermarkets.

The 'Albert Heijn Top 10 Houseplants’ not only has the ten most popular plants on offer, but also pots, potting soil, hydro grains and plant food. This promotion is a cooperation with Waterdrinker, grower promotion collectives Anthurium, Air So Pure, Bromelia and Orchidee Nederland, Pokon, Albert Heijn, and the Flower Council of Holland. 

While stocks last!
The promotion will be available while stocks last. Anthuriums, plants from the Air So Pure range, Bromeliads and Orchids will all be highlighted in the promotion. The activation will give customers inspiration to mix and match different plants. By offering pots and plant care at the same time, we will make it even easier to bring some greenery into the home. The concept behind the promotion is: Thanks Plants for making my house a home.

How do we reach consumers?
To generate attention for this shopper activation, posters will be hung on the plant shelves in all Albert Heijn stores and there will be a special plant insert in the Allerhande magazine. The AH Top 10 Houseplants will also be featured on our Dutch consumer website Mooiwatplantendoen.nl, its social media channels, and its newsletter. A social media campaign will also ensure extra reach.
