Late summer content campaign for outdoor plants

Content dossier supported by radio and online advertising 

We are already looking ahead to September and our outdoor plants content campaign. Before autumn arrives, we can still enjoy a late summer throughout September. Fresh mornings, autumnal colours, and gentle sunlight provide us with the golden moments to get busy with garden plants.

In a cooperation with the outdoor plant growers from Royal FloraHolland, we developed a late summer content file for our consumer site Thejoyofplants.co.uk based on the theme ‘From Grey to Green’. This content will be boosted with media in Germany and The Netherlands. In the Netherlands we will partner with the garden centres of GroenRijk for a well suited shopper activation.

Content, online media support and radio
From 1 September content articles about late summer gardening will be published on Thejoyofplants.co.uk and its German, Dutch and French sister sites. They will cover all aspects from product information to inspirational tips, and from late bloomers to plants that will bring a colour spectacle into the garden. In the Netherlands and Germany this content is being promoted through advertisements on social media. A radio commercial on Dutch stations will be added to the media mix. This will encourage consumers to browse the websites and to get busy in the garden or the patio while they still can.
